Why don't you just leave the program opened on your 2nd screen so that you never need to worry about not seeing your desktop icons?

You will need to reformat and install the new copy. I would suggest backing up any data from your laptop before wiping it clean first.

Have you tried running a stress test on your gpu? Just to make sure it hasn't malfunctioned.

I just wanted to know why we are now able to install a software from a cd and no longer need that cd to be in the cd drive to run the software? I remember 10 years ago we would always need the CD inside the computer in order to boot into the software. Thankyou in advance :)

Sorry I forgot to mention my cleaners. I usually use MalwareBytes, CCcleaner, and SuperAntiSpyware... All of these scans do not allow me to choose which drive to choose, so if you are correct, then I can assume that it is cleaning all drives then.
