Well that definitely sucks. To rephrase what I said in my original text - basically the laptops harddrive was incredibly slow, and just wanted to test out if anything else was slowing it down by using an ssd. Lesson learned :/

UPDATE: I formatted my PC and reset windows and everything cleared up - now I've got to solve the root issue of my 144hz monitor turning off on frequently when I play games

Didn't seem to work; it really doesnt help that I dont have internet access with the affected computer. I've tried unregistering the windows installer package but it doesnt work.

Hi, so a week or two ago I noticed ping spikes on servers that run at ~20ms, but then jump to ~700 momentarily. My wireless adapter works on other computers but not mine, and It's been working on my computer for a few months prior without any issues. Any suggestions will be appreciated :)

Hi, sorry I was a while to reply. There is, but they're only light users, maybe using facebook etc; I'm using wireless, and it doesn't support dual band. The thing I don't understand is that I've had barely any issues with it previously, and it's only just cropped up fairly recently.
