So in that case it matters not thata there are no boards with pci-e 3.0 out yet. Until there is theres no point to a pci-e 3 board.
I reckon when the boards come out with it on, then we will see cards supporting it come along.
That killer network card is tosh, i remember when they released it as pic or pci-e( cant remember) and it got slated for being too expensive and pointless.
Otherwise i'd say the gigabyte sniper is a nice board
Sorry for double post, i cant edit my last one to add this :S (bit dumb really)
There is actually a forum specific for republic of gamer boards too.

Go with the gene-z, that is a surweet ass board, supports xfire and sli and has a nice bios for getting the most out of your chip. It looks pretty sweet too.
Asus Maximus IV Extreme Intel P67 imo, because its a top daddy overclocking board, it has support for quad gpu setups, and good support from the community. Its got a good set of specs on it, and a good bios with lots of options to get the best out of your setup.
Personally i don't see the need to buy the asrock just because it has pci-e 3.0. Surely in two years you would be better off buying a new board as by then the asrock will be old and out of date with probably an old chipset etc.
That was my overclock.
It was a asus p5b-dlx board, patriot pc7200 ram, that did 560mhz 1:1, and the golden e6300, the cooler was a freezer 7 pro.
There was more in the chip but could'nt get more than 560 out of the ram.
i had that chip in my p5wd2,i have 0501 bios tho'.
i got mine to 3.6 with stock power,3.8 with 1.4v and 4ghz to the bios with 1.475.i reckon it will do win with the vcore at 1.5v+.i didnt have the nuts to try it tho'.
it will run very hot and eat lots of juice at 4ghz tho'.you'll also need good...
why do all the threads i've read about intel vs amd end up with squabbling.both amd and intel have their good and bad points, and neither is crap.i think some people start these threads coz they enjoy the flame war.
