What is the folder in which they are stored in called? My external HD library is recognized, and I kept the directory layout the same. As in, my external games are stored in SteamLibrary>steamapps>common.

Battle.net has proven to be a performance killer for me, if left running while in a game. Have you tried quitting your Battle.net launcher? You can set the launcher to automatically quit itself once it launches one of the games. It's in its settings.
