Good day all,
I just completed a new build and I'm struggling to understand why I'm not getting higher fps while in Overwatch. My component list is as follows:

i5 7600k
Asus GTX 1080 A8G gaming
Asus TUF Z270
16gb ram
M.2 crucial SSD

I currently let the game and Asus software adjust settings for peak performance and yet will not exceed 60-70 fps....

I also attempted to perform a twitch stream today and set it to 1080p. I thought the hardware would be able to support it and my ISP provides 75mb down and 50mb up so with the two combined I figured I was safe. Yet the stream was freezing when I reviewed and during game play there were small slow downs.

Any recommendations available I do greatly appreciate.

Bummer.
I'm struggling with lag issues and a decreased framerate in Overwatch as well. LEt's hope we both find our solutions.
My last two other suggestions, which each helped improve my framerate a bit, was unplugging any external hard drive I had connected to my laptop, and exiting f.lux (if you have it installed).
Battle.net has proven to be a performance killer for me, if left running while in a game. Have you tried quitting your Battle.net launcher?

You can set the launcher to automatically quit itself once it launches one of the games. It's in its settings.

Sadly this made no impact.
