    CPU/Motherboard Compatibility

Ok what about the Nvidia gtx 650 Ti? Its $10 more and it gives better performance. In my experience the nvidia cards run smoother and without micro stutters. I was having issues with amd and those micro stutters drove me crazy. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-video-card-01gp43652kr Your...

    CPU/Motherboard Compatibility

No. You needn't change the card. The difference in performance between PCIe 3.0 and 2.0 is almost negligible. So you should be fine with the 7770 and is a good choice for budget pc, but i would advise you to check out the 7850. The cheapest i found them are from gigabyte.

    CPU/Motherboard Compatibility

Oh and yes you are right. The CPU you have chosen will not support PCIe 3.0 but i wouldn't worry about that since it is not that big of a difference. Building a budget pc you will probably go for a PCIe 2.0 graphics card anyway.

    CPU/Motherboard Compatibility

The Pentium G2120 is 1155 socket and your motherboard has a 1155 socket. So you are good to go. And the motherboard does support PCIe 3.0. Source: http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H77M/?cat=CPU P.S. Did you choose a graphics card yet?

Why won't this build turn on?

Make sure that you have connected everything properly, the 4pin 12V on the motherboard, check that you have correctly installed the RAM. I would disconnect everything and connect only the main cable and the 4pin cable to the motherboard (disconnect all case fans) and see what happens. If the...

Need help with CPU, what to choose, opinions, recomendations

I think the most powerful processor you can install on that board is the Phenom II x6 1090T -> http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/K10/AMD-Phenom%20II%20X6%201090T%20Black%20Edition%20-%20HDT90ZFBK6DGR%20(HDT90ZFBGRBOX).html But that is an old processor and while you would see some improvement, it...

    Comparison between 3 CPU coolers

I found that the stock cooler is loud and inefficient. The problems arise in the summer with the stock cooler if you have a hot room :) like me. So i would go with an aftermarket cooler even if you go and choose the non K version. I bought the CNP9900 (because it was OVER 9000 :))) with the...

I have found the solution!!! My GPU usage is now 99% all the time and my frames are up as they should be. I turned off the v-sync in game settings and set it to adaptive in the Nvidia control panel. Also changed settings to Single display performance and Prefer maximum performance on power...

Crysis 3 single player won't go over 50% gpu

Hi. I have a single gtx 660 ti OC. I know its not as powerful as your system is but i have the same issue as you. In free beta with beta 313.96 drivers i had constant 55-60 FPS on high settings (Fxaa, 1920x1080). Now i have sudden frame drops to 30 and GPU usage at around 50-60% while frames...
