I am maybe going to overclock. I am going to use the pc for gaming mostly. And when i play games i always have steam, spotify and many internet tabs open. Should i go the i5 route or the i7 route?

I am thinking about the h110i gtx and the nh-u12s. Recording to "Tweaktown" the h110i gtx in quiet mode is one of the quietest coolers you can get.
