Best solution is don't downgrade its much better in every way just upgrade your graphics card you will have to with the newer games anyways to make them playable anyways

I like to upgrade my computer periodically with the latest and I have had my H100i for about a year and a half now and does the job well imo would get another one. Is there any benefit to the H100i GTX variant if it will get me a few degrees lower I would do it.

i5/970 will get the job done just fine just be patient. The i7 with the hyper threading will really cut the render/editing time down almost half over the i5 but it is still a really good choice.

The only thing you might be concerned about is clearing the ram/mobo with the pump that extends down but it will fit the case mounting holes just fine!!!

Any 240mm will fit in the corsair 350D even a 280mm will fit with modifying/removing the 5.25" drive bays!

i5 4690k, z97 motherboard, and save up for a 900 series graphics card specially for the games you have listed, you would have a very solid gaming build!!!

if those are your only option definitely 970/i5

i7 for the hyper threading when it comes to editing and streaming video and playing games while rendering also if you are running anything more then 1080p monitor go with the gtx 970 the 4gb on the 960 wont help you for better monitors higher frames it would help mainly for running mods on...

Will using a NAS drive work fine they are cheap per tb. I was looking at the WD red drives what is the difference other then the red is optimized for server work load/storage...?
