I haven't tried many games with RT, but with my 2060 Super I can get 80+ FPS on Modern Warfare with RTX on, full ultra 1080p. I'm very happy with this card so far, but I might be biased since I haven't tried any other similar GPUs.

I had that same problem last week and went for a Noctua D15S cooler (R5 2600), and went from 50 idle, 95 full load, to 30 idle, 50 full load (C). Getting 35C on Dota, after around 6 hours of playing. What helped was getting an aftermarket cooler and changing the thermal paste.

I'm getting the B450 Aorus anyway, and I really don't think he will OC.
