I used startech CPU thermal paste compound

On second look the benchmark shows low performace on CPU and RAM. Any ideas?

Hm I cant seem to find the battery to reset the cmos. i7 6700k Do you know where it would be?

my cpu temps seem to be increasing and are now 95-100celsius. ill look into clearing cmos now.

hwmonitor said the cpu clock speed was running between 800-2000 MHz while running the benchmark

Just ran Malwarebytes, came back clean. CPU temps are between 89-95. I only had battle.net app running in the background, which is low cpu usage. this is not a fresh install of windows but recent. I cant figure it out.
