    CPU performance degrading over time

i know of a video that will answer your question about performance degradation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=44JqNJq-PC0

My PC restarts when when I try to stress test gpu or when I play a game

At a glance i suggest that it could be one of two things, incorrectly installed cpu cooler/not enough thermal paste or a too low a wattage power supply which kicks in protection features thus turning your pc off and in bios settings it may be set to restart upon power loss hence the pc restarting.

I need help choosing a graphics card for my old PC with Q6600 CPU

Right now the sweet spot for any "budget/mid-end" system is the 1050 or 1050ti due to its performance difference over previous generation graphics cards. A reccomendation by me would be this card: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Zotac-GeForce-1050Ti-Mini-Grap... it is going to be a more viable...

Same graphics card - different company. Difference?

The difference between the provider of said graphics cards will be that they are fine tuned by said company within the core clock speed and memory clock speed, the size of the cards and the way they are cooled. These will all impact both the performance and cooling of each card. in order to find...

    Graphics Card Power Requirements

so considering both of your answers, using the 1050ti with a molex adapter you would rank as your best answer in this picky scenario im in? just incase the pcie port dosent keep a stable 75w, the molex keeps that stability going should there be a lack of wattage in the pcie lane and the final...

    Graphics Card Power Requirements

I wouldn't normally post here because i am pretty well educated with the pc side of things, but i have a hp prodesk 600G1 with a 320w cpu, paired with a i3 4130 which is of 54 watts, and as for adding a graphics card that will be powered on the pci-e lane only or a single six pin using a molex...

Is it worth overclocking the intel i5 6600k

You can never be too safe when it comes to overclocking, just make sure you have decent thermal paste and good temps and make sure there is a fresh amount of air entering your case otherwise things will become extremely hot and risk damaging both your motherboard and CPU

Which one should i choose ?

determined by the new Core i3 7350k's decently high stock clock speed and its ability to overclock(notice the K) i would recommend that you go for that as its lower wattage and more performance to the dollar as the 7350k runs at 60w and the i5 6400 at 91w. One of the main advantages of the i5...

    AIO cpu cooler temps?.....

a possible solution around this would be to reseat the cpu and apply new thermal paste to the cpu, north bridge and south bridge to be sure

    First build help

your GPU is more than enough for coding and Runescape for that matter, do you see yourself wanting to be somewhat future proof for a while should you go further into gaming. Are you able to describe any more of what you wish to use the pc for, will you ever be doing system intensive gaming?

    Windows 7 install

A possible solution would be to check the state of the ram, if it works or one stick is broken, should it be causing errors before the system has even properly booted or installed any amount of data.

Worth up grading CPU to i7 6600k

Intel are continually creating "the next generation" of processors. but would upgrading to you actually provide any more benefits that you already get from your current system. Also if you were to upgrade, you would have to get a new motherboard and RAM to support the CPU as a lot of boards now...

    Is 100% usage a problem?

in a case like this, the temperatures would be likely to exceed normal operating temperatures or go much higher to say the least, but if someone should play a game; the CPU should be putting all its effort in to run the game. Are you able to provide the name of the game?

    I need help upgrading

to me it would seem that upgrading your 750ti would be a better option as the recommended requirements for the game Rust is to have a GTX 980 and instantly that says the me that a GPU upgrade would be more beneficial in this instance. As for the CPU the recommended requirements for the game is...

    Post Artifacts Problem

i have experienced several of these occasions where artefacts appear and i think its safe to say that the card is bust when giving a picture like that, its very surprising for something new to be like that but it may be something just as simple as a bad solder connection which unfortunately...
