I have some secondary fdell monitors that I use flipped sideways, and am looking for a montitor with a vertical height of 14.5 in. (My ocd won't let me have monitors with different heights :P Any suggestions or ideas on anything related to this are welcome.

Yes, 500w should be enough, but at least list your power supply model. As long as it's decent quality, and has at least 18 amps on the 12v rail, you'll be fine.

Well, newegg is the cheapest for that gpu, and they are very popular and reputable. You can't go wrong with any of those stores, but newegg happens to be the cheapest, so buy it from them.

Yes, it is a great build, but as said before, get a different hd. Can't go wrong with western digital, note: you are really overpaying for that os :P

Yeah, sounds like you are looking at a dead gpu :( Make sure it is getting enough power, try re-seating it in the pci-e slot, and generally just try to make sure it is the gpu, but it sounds like that is your problem.

No, it won't affect performance, unless you try to overclock. You have some problems with that build though, that psu is nowhere near enough wattage, and is really sketchy anyways. Get yourself a good 850w min psu. Also, that cpu will really bottleneck your two 280x's.
