Thats a very good oc for a 1st gen kepler card. If you havent touched the voltage yet, try bumping that up a bit and go for an even bigger overclock :p If youre content with that oc however, make sure you run a benchmark or gpu test for at least an hour or two to make sure its stable. Goodluck :)

Your 980s fans most likely dont increase fan speed until it gets to a certain temp. OVerclock away!

Honestly, you should be fine. Get it and run stress tests on it, if your pc turns off, then you might need a new psu. Any 80+ 300w or 400w will be a good upgrade.

If youre using CUDA wouldnt the amount of CUDA cores help more than the DP of the cards? a GTX 660ti or GTX 670 has 2x the cores of a 580

The 980ti uses about 100w more than the 660ti. Make sure you have a 6pin and 8pin pcie power connectors.

Assassins creed unity is not a good game to play on pc anyways. Play several different games and see if you notice a difference. Also, oc you i7 a bit, that might help.
