    You can reuse drives if they were in good condition in the old system no problem. There is really no reason you would need to clear/wipe it unless you suspect a virus or something of that nature.

    They have been blinking since the moment the PC was first powered on and it worked with no problems for 4 months. You may be right, but I can't find anything in the manual on them. I don't think they're the problem.

    It's an ASUS Prime B450. The lights are yellowish and just slowly fade on and off. I assume they're decorative. I don't believe there are any lights that indicate anything on the board.

    All parts of the build were purchased new in early April of this year. The PSU is bronze rated 80+. I have tried booting into safe mode and failed. There are lights on my motherboard that are always lit, even if the computer is off, I don't know if that is what you're referring to.
