Sorry if I wasn't clear in the question. i wasn't talking about the 12 pin connector. I meant would it be detrimental to the power delivery if i used 1 cable from the PSU to provide the gpu with both 8 pin power or should i use 2 cables

Ive got an Aerocool 750W Integrator Mod XT Semi Modular PSU that has a cable with two 6+2 pcie connectors on it I've been using a RX580 which requires 14pins and that's been working fine however I'm hopefully switching to a RTX 3080 and I'm wondering if the 2 connectors being on the same cable...

Im sure this link doesn't specify nvlink between and 2080 and a 2080 ti it just says if u can nvlink between 2 2080's or 2 ti's Also what cpu do you have are you sure Ur not being bottlenecked by that or another component in Ur system. Since gaming at 1440p with a 2080ti should get higher fps

personally I would get the monitor first that's what I did, I had an rx580 8gb which is a bit more powerful than yours and a ryzen 3 1300x and i got a 32inch 1440p 144hz monitor with no hdr or freesync or anything it was only about £240 i could play 1440p at around 80fps with medium settings...

We both have Xbox gamepass and ive already got it on my PC i want to either download it again to his SSD or copy it over from mine. On steam and other launchers you can but is there any way with the windows store

Also you would rather go for the 2600 over the 2600x and the same with the 3600 over the 3600x for the price difference there is no point since you can overclock it to that level anyway
