So the screw is still intact, but it's the thread itself that broke off. The screw is indeed in the thread, so I'll probably remove it first before applying epoxy and putting back the thread. Thanks for the idea!

Thanks, after alot of checking and double checking, it turns out that the issue was that I hadn't download installed the drivers for intel integrated graphics, making anything I opened super laggy

After hunting for a bit, I was able to find a 970 and a 1060 3gb (Both second hand) for around 200 bucks each (190 for the 1060, 185-86 for the 970). The seller who I'm buying them from is a pretty reputable online seller where I am and offers refunds if issues arise within 3 months. So far...

I personally have the Acer nitro 5, and I think that it's a very solid gaming laptop. It sometimes gets a little loud, but that hasn't really posed an issuse to me. Btw, which region are you in?

Lol, I'm gonna be waiting for a good 3-4 Months or so before I upgrade my pc and even try cyberpunk 2077. I'll hope that by then, the issues with the game will be smoothed out, providing the true experience that CD Projekt intended.

That's a fair point. However, where I am, newers card usually gets priced a bit over US msrp so while I may not get the 3060ti, I might go for the 2070 super provided the vendors where I live lower the price. Thanks for all the input!
