Hi, I have a xfx 8800gt and when I hook it up to my LG 47 lcd it does the following: if I run something lower than 1080, it fits perfect within the tv frame, but if I increase it to 1080 resolution, then the picture suddenly jumps out of the boundaries as if my tv was bigger... any help...

I have an LG 47 LCD, when I was picking it out, Samsung models in the same price range couldn't touch it with a 10' pole. It's running 5ms, great picture, a lot of great features... It's sort of new here, but in Europe it competes with Sony and has been a top brand for a long time.

Well, first of all, S-Video will get u a **** picture. If it's a old tv I suppose that's the only solution, but if it's HD, then you need either a DVI to DVI or DVI to HDMI, check what the tv has. And I'm not sure, but I doubt you can force the 16:9 unless you play with your resolutions...
