Review Asus ROG G700 review: Premium performance at a sensible price

Yah, I would have spent a few extra bucks on the 9700x instead. At Newegg it's like $5 more expensive. Lower wattage and integrated graphics for troubleshooting purposes are just two upgrades.

Review NZXT H9 Flow (2025) Case Review: a spacious mid-tower chassis with support for 420mm AIOs

LOL, with you on the strong disagree on the back connect motherboard issue. I think it's a fantastic evolution, but case and motherboard manufacturers aren't all in on it and only producing things that could be supported. It's a new idea, relatively speaking, that hasn't grown to the point of...

    Best Gaming Chairs

Regarding the "negative" for the Secret Labs chair, specifically "seat could be softer"... Generally speaking, a softer cushion for your butt will lead to bad posture and back problems. The firmer cushion helps solve that. I speak from personal experience. I've had "gaming chairs" in the...

Question Help Choosing a Case – Airflow & AIO Clearance Concerns

I'm REALLY late to reply to this, but this sounds like a perfect reason to get an Antec Flux Pro. If your budget for a full tower is $300, this will be $120 cheaper, so you can pick and choose fans to replace the ones included. GN gave it top notch scores for airflow and temps.

Review Montech XR Wood Case Review: Low cost, wood accents

Hahaha, hey, you do a great job, don't mind my grumples. But I do really appreciate the work you do in your testing, and if you can find the time for a review, I'll be there for it. Cheers!

Still no Antec Flux (ANY OF THEM) review? Disappointing.

Review FSP MP5 and NP7 Air Coolers Review: Simple and effective

just out of curiousity, I've noticed that most of the cooling/case review focus on Intel. With AMD cpus starting to gain a large amount of the desktop market share, why aren't we seeing cooler reviews with AMD stuff? Is it just because Intel stuff is stupidly hot and power hungry?

News Delidded Ryzen 7 9800X3Ds are now available for $599 with a two-year warranty

Question, is the 9800x3D still ultra-rare as mentioned in the title? One of the biggest retailers in Canada has had it constantly in stock for weeks now.

News AMD estimates of Radeon RX 9070 XT performance leaked: 42% – 66% faster than Radeon RX 7900 GRE

Agree 100%. AMD needs to take some of that money they're raking in on the CPU side and invest it in changing the marketplace where GPUs are concerned. Make a reasonable profit on the new parts by charging reasonable prices and gaining marketshare. We've seen what NV's done with basically a...

News Nvidia announces RTX 50-series at up to $1,999

Generally speaking, the most vocal whining about Nvidia tends to be from the Nvidia fans, not the neutral fans. Whining on Nvidia's behalf, not against them. I don't expect this to change, and thank you for the validation. :D

News Nvidia announces RTX 50-series at up to $1,999

lol! It's $1 under 2k. I mean, I have a DOLLAR in my pocket right now! $1998 to go! ;) It's not THAT impressive

Discussion PSU recommendations and power supply discussion thread - Tom's hardware

I tend to stick with Seasonic. Not a bash on other brands (some of which just use rebadged seasonics), but never an issue. 10 year old system with seasonic has never even hiccuped, even through upgrades.

News RTX 5080 16GB spotted in early pre-built listing from iBuyPower — Sports the upcoming 65W Intel Core Ultra 9 285 and an unreleased B860 motherboard

*chuckle* Are companies still under the thrall of Intel from like 20 years ago (which they paid a legal and monetary price for) for them to make a pre-built that has a cpu that pales in comparison to the AMD price equivalent? Thanks but no thanks lol

News Incoming RTX 5090 could need massive power stages for possible 600-watt power draw – Nvidia’s next flagship GPU rumored to sport copious amounts of...

Well hang on a second. "Taking every point to the extreme"? You literally stated that anyone without 20A circuits lives in a mobile home "with shoelaces for wiring". That's pretty extreme rhetoric. Maybe tone it down a bit. It's okay if you're going to buy a 5090 on day one, and you...

Review APNX V1 Case Review: Fish-bowl design done right, with excellent thermals

I agree. I think the Fractal North is ugly too, the wood is too overdone for my taste. Reminds me of a 1970s station wagon with the "wood" paneling on the outside. Prefer the Antec Flux way of using it as an accent instead of a feature. And as you said, there are other models that don't...
