    Battle field 4 and a 980ti, 10 FPS

So I have a GTX 980ti and an amd fx8350. I used to play all the time at 1080p with my gtx770 and i would get a constant 80+fps with occasional dips to 50 fps. Since then I've upgrade a 980ti and a 4k monitor and I'm getting a whopping 10 fps. the core clock on the gpu is sitting at sluggish...

    Is this a good build?

That looks fine. only sketchy thing is the PSU. Alot of people wouldn't recommend it but then again, I'm still rocking my cx600m (which is on the same tier as that unit,) from 2 years ago so I guess I got lucky. other than that Id say nice build! post pics when its done!

    Is this a good build?

I will say this, as an fx8350 owner for >2 years, I love that chip. that's a similar build to what I started with. I have yet to see a problem with my cpu (currently paired w/ a gtx 980ti and running a 4k display at >60 fps) The only issue i have had with it is windows 10 doesn't like my...

File Explorer crashing at odd times

So Ive noticved that I can't get to certain settings on win 10 anymore because trying to access the settings causes the file explorer to crash and restart. For example, if I try to access my network and sharing center by either right clicking on the item in the tool bar or by navigating there...

    Windows 10 bsod nvlddmkm.sys

The psu is on my radar. But if I'm going to get a new one then I have to rebend the first tube coming out of the pump to make more room which means draining the loop. That will be a project for another time, for now I'm going to enjoy some sniper elite at 4k without my graphics card thermal...

    Windows 10 bsod nvlddmkm.sys

it was in fact just a driver error. i managed to uninstall the old driver (359.00) and install the latest driver, 361.43, and everything seems to be working fine now. will post pictures in a little bit of the finished build!

    Windows 10 bsod nvlddmkm.sys

So, with a few online PSU calculators, my system is drawing about 500-550 watts. I should look for a PSU in the ~750 range? any recommendations?

Radiators, Water cooling, and Fans, Oh my!

well the build is put together but now I'm getting a BSOD on boot with an error stating "system service exception (nvlddmkm.sys)" Ive read up a bit on that error code and i either killed my gpu or theres a driver error that came out of nowhere (driver 359) Im really hoping its a driver error...

    Windows 10 bsod nvlddmkm.sys

So I recently did a custom water cooling loop this past Sunday for my gpu and cpu, which went well, all up until the end when I powered the system on again and was met with a wonderful blue screen of death. The error read 'system service exception (nvlddmkm.sys)' This is the first time I've...
