Well, the 1600 is certainly a lot cheaper. Since the clock speeds are lower, from 3.6 to 3.2, wouldn't the single core stuff (like CAD simulation) be slower? And what about the mobo?

Hi. My current build is old as hell, FX 6300 @3.6GHz + 2x4Gb RAM, almost a year ago I managed to snatch a pretty cheap RX570 8Gb (an absolute upgrade from the integrated graphics from the mobo). I also have a CX650M, so I believe my power supplying needs are more than covered for an upgrade...

So, let's say I plan to upgrade to a Ryzen in the future (as well as swapping the mobo and rams), Would I be fine with a CX450 or is the 550 necessary? Also, what would be the limits while playing with any of this PSU's?

Unfortunately, I'm not in USA, so after shipping and taxes, that 500GB MX500 ends up at about $82, while still cheaper than the $97 it would cost me in my country it's nowhere near the $57 I'd pay on the A400 or the $62 for the 250GB one.
