After trying different cables it is indeed an error on my end. So it can be a fault of 1 of the cables inside? I just want to be sure about this so I can get to fixing the cable.. dont want to buy a new one and dig through half the house.

PC is connected thorugh a cable that is connected to the router but it leads through several walls but its still one cable, no switches and what not. The whole cable is around 20meters And I ll have to look on that AUTO setting I'll let you know.

I have figured that out. The question was if its possible just to clone the OS required files and not all of the files. But a new question arises. What should I do to the old OS on the HDD? I do not want to format my HDD completely.
