finding right parts for pc build

for 2500 you have a very weak gpu, try to at least go for a 1060 or 1070. I would also prefer if you went with a ryzen 7 or i7 for video rendering and editing, as a content creator myself I can say that you will benefit from the extra cpu and gpu horsepower. In my opinion you should hold off on...

Abnormal temps on my H100i v2?

That sounds about right for the temps in idle on your edit, honestly though you were fine even on the first time, you only run into thermal issues around 80-85c. for a state of referrence my 4790 idles at around 33c You are perfectly fine =) The fans ramping up during gaming is normal, i...

    Cpu usage prolonged dip

technically speaking this could be a gpu problem, have you overclocked anything, and what are your temps like. a sharp dip in usage could also be overhealting.

    Computer Fan Issue

So long as your temps are fine I wouldn't worry about it. a good cleaning of the dust could help solve this problem. Just make sure that you turn the pc off before you clean it

    Replacing CPU the right way?

honestly, it's even easier nowadays. My guess is that the repair guy is trying to get you to use his services. Obviously you want to be relatively careful, but it's not really scary, I know many a child that could do it with no trouble whatsoever. Just be sure to line up the little triangles...

Questions about my new Ryzen Setup

If the ram is rated @ 3200 than it will hit 3200, but you have to set it in the bios, don't worry this isnt a difficult change. As far as overclocking the cpu, you are thinking about overclocking incorrectly. Before overclocking you have to remember that it isn't an exact science and that the...

    Monitor broke tv won't work

quick question, did you have the pc plugged into a surge protector? I truly hope that I'm wrong on this, but if you didn't and it went down during a thunderstorm, you may have some sort of damage in the pc. I would try to launch into safe mode, but no matter what you should be seeing a splash...

Monitor overclocking work, but not in game?

Hello Everyone, I overclocked my monitor from 60hz to 80hz. Everything looks fine in windows, Nvidia control panel reads out as 80hz and so does the windows display properties. The issue is that when I go into games I am trying to set the games to 80hz and it won't let me do so for some reason...

    unstable temperature amd fx 9370

One thing that you can try is to put on new thermal paste and re seat the heatsink. Sometimes oils that come off of your fingers can effect the temps a bit. This may be part of it. I've also seen people accidentally leave the sticker on the bottom of the heatsink on it on accident. If that...

    unstable temperature amd fx 9370

You're definitely overheating. That CPU is known for running super hot. The original versions of the 9370 actually came with a water cooler. It's possible that the cooler may just not be able to handle it.

HP Compaq DX2300 CPU Upgrade HELP!

If the board is LGA775 it should work with a Q6600. HP's website doesn't always show the full extent of what works on the motherboards. For instance I upgraded an old computer with a cpu that wasn't listed on HP's website (Sempron LE-1250 -> Athlon II x4) You should be perfectly fine with a...
