[SOLVED] Should I upgrade? And if so, to what?

I mean right now I’m building a simple PC for my father, so I figured I could give him my RAM and I could upgrade, so I wouldn’t just be storing it in a closet. I don’t really remember why I went with 3000 back then, but if upgrading to 3200+ would benefit me and it’s a direct swap, then maybe...

[SOLVED] Should I upgrade? And if so, to what?

Sorry, I have 3000 at the moment, but it seems 3200 or above is mostly recommended which is why I’m asking.

[SOLVED] Should I upgrade? And if so, to what?

Hello, Here is what I currently have; MSI Z390M Gaming Edge AC 9900K @ 5GHz The memory is; G.Skill Trident Z 3000MHz. https://www.gskill.com/specification/165/168/1536225260/F4-3000C14Q-64GTZ-Specification I read that for a 9900k you want to have above 3200, which is why I want to know if...

    [SOLVED] Water Temp Sensor here?

Thanks for the replies, it’s an in-line sensor, I was planning on plugging it to the Corsair Commander Pro. The reason I wanted to put it down there was so I didn’t have to drain the system. And also the reason I wanted to install it was to control my fan speed. I do monitor my temperatures on...

    [SOLVED] Water Temp Sensor here?

Hello, I finished my custom loop a couple of weeks ago and I forgot to install a Water temp sensor. I ordered one and I’m ready to install, but I don’t know if this would work. View: https://imgur.com/a/5PVstXJ Marked on the picture is a Drain Valve, followed by a fitting. My plan is to...

Question iCue Fan Curve, best sensor to base it on?

You are correct, I am running a small/tight build in a small case. And yes, I noticed that... Fans go up and just drop down because the temp changes drastically really fast. Ok, so I should just wait on the Water sensor to make a better curve. Sounds good.

Question iCue Fan Curve, best sensor to base it on?

Hello, I finished my Custom Loop, and while I'm waiting for my Water Temp Sensor to arrive (In a couple of weeks), I figured I would work on a custom Fan Curve using iCue, since I'm running a Commander Pro. So I noticed I can base the Fan Curve on different sensors, default being "CPU...

    Question Custom Loop Drain

I’m currently using a Reservoir & Pump combo which is above the GPU. The lowest point on my loop would be the GPU, but I’m not sure if it’s a bad idea to do it from there.

    Question Custom Loop Drain

Hello, I’m almost finished with my custom loop, and I was wondering; my case is very small, and I barely have any space to play with. I have an EK Tap drain valve, and I was wondering if I can use one of the bottom ports of the GPU block to connect a hose down to the drain valve and leave it at...

Question EK D5 Pump & Fan Help

Yes, it has a Molex connection, and then a 4 pin PWM plug but only has 2 wires. So I’m guessing it gets power from the Molex, and the PWM is just for speed control.

Question EK D5 Pump & Fan Help

Ok, thank you for the info. One last question, for the Pump PWM, can I hook it up to PUMP_FAN header? My MSI motherboard manual says it’s a PWM by default header so it should work?

Question EK D5 Pump & Fan Help

That’s correct! Ok perfect, for the pump to run at 100% I just leave the PWM cable unplugged correct? Also, if I add a CORSAIR Commander Pro, can I also plug all the Fans to it and control their speed from the software? Or is it still better to connect them to the CPU header? Thank you.

Question EK D5 Pump & Fan Help

Hello, I’m putting together a custom loop with an EK D5 PWM Pump, 3 CORSAIR ML Pro fans and 1 Noctua PWM fan. I’m a little confused on what would be the best way of connecting the Pump along with the fans? Reading my motherboard’s manual says CPU_FAN Auto detects from PWM or DC mode...

    Question D-RGB Without Mobo header?

Thank you! So I can also use a Corsair Commander Pro to plug D-RGB lights? I have one brand new but didn’t think it would work, I’ll try it out.

    Question D-RGB Without Mobo header?

Hello, I’ve been searching on google for a while now and I figured I would ask to see if there’s a “new” way. So I have a D-RGB Reservoir from EK, but my motherboard only uses RGB. From what I have found so far, the only way is to use a converter from Deepcool...
