I want to upgrade my cpu to a i9-7940x and ofcourse i need x299(now i have x99)and right now i have 3.0 PERFORMER C THERMALTAKE cooler and in win g7 case(mid tower). Should i buy a different cooler for the new cpu or not? If yes which cooler should i buy? Thanks in advance for an answer

Right now i have x99 motherboard,haswell 5820 cpu,64 gb memory and i want in the next months to buy i9-7940x or minimum the 7920x so i must have a X299 motherboard

What do you mean? The X299 taichi xe is not good for a I9 7900X series?

There is no end for it...there will be 8080 gtx or something similar..

ofcourse the titan is very expensive and compare to what you get from the 1080 ti and pay for it and the amount you pay for the titan,it's better to buy the 1080 ti. i have a scratch in the head..i prefer to buy the most expensive even though it doesn't mean always that it's the best

With the skylake-x my pc will be monstrous. Right now i can't afford 1500 dollars for the i9 7940X so it will take little bit time to replace my haswell i7 5820 but it's also a good cpu
