I am using windows 8.1 and when I see C drive in my computer it will show only 3 GB free out of 102 GB but when I go into C drive and calculate size of files it's only 49 GB consumed by my files.And also I checked Malware using Malwarebytes but nothing found .what could be the problem?

I have i5 GHz, 6GB ram, 1 GB nvidia VGA laptop.But i worked in my university lab it has i3, 4GB, on board VGA desktop computers but it can see they are more powerful than my laptop .they boot up fast and response faster than my i5 laptop .What is the reason?
