Review Lian Li Galahad AIO 240 Review: Performance and Style Meets Affordability

"The Galahad pump makes use of a 4-pin PWM header, which can be managed with a pump curve from your motherboard or operate full-time at 100% via the included SATA power cable. " This is not true... the Galahad visibly has a 3-pin DC power connector for its pump.

Question Constant bluescreens with "DPC Watchdog Violation"

Unfortunately this didn't help. It did repair some corrupted files, but hasn't stopped the bluescreens. I've also tried a system restore but it failed. And apparently there's only one restore point, for some reason. I think I'm going to try reinstalling windows.

Question Constant bluescreens with "DPC Watchdog Violation"

I temporarily transplanted my CPU, RAM, GPU and secondary NVME drive to a different system to check the motherboard, and now that I've put the main system back together it keeps randomly freezing and bluescreens, telling me "DPC Watchdog Violation". Everything I can find online links this crash...

I couldn't get DBAN to work, it just refused to run. I tried DiskWipe instead and made no difference.

[SOLVED] "Used space" remains after wiping hard drive

After wiping my hard drive in CCleaner there was initially still 230MB of "used space", which has now increased to over 300MB, even though there's literally nothing on the drive. SpaceSniffer shows it as "Unaccessible Space", and the CCleaner analysis tool just calls it "Other Files". I...

[SOLVED] 120mm vs 140mm RPM and fan noise?

Well I don't yet have any specific fans in mind, but top of the list are the upcoming EK Vardar S fans bundled with the new EK AIO. Those are stated to have a 550rpm minimum. Also considering the Alpenfohn Wing Boost 3. And I'd happily give the Noctua 12x25 a go but they haven't got around to...

[SOLVED] 120mm vs 140mm RPM and fan noise?

I'm soon switching to a smaller case and will have to swap my 280mm radiator for a 240. And when idle I currently keep my 140mm fans at around 300rpm to keep the system as quiet as possible, but 120mm fans can't generally go that low and would be running 500-700 rpm when idle. Am I correct in...

Question Outside of games, G-Sync causes screen tearing in fullscreen view

I've started getting noticeable screen tearing while watching movies, streams or youtube in full screen mode when G-Sync is enabled. I don't know what's causing it but it only started a few days ago. I've updated drivers, checked settings but can't find anything that might be causing it. I...

[SOLVED] SSD won't boot, goes straight to BIOS every time

Surely there must be some way to add the boot data? I was hoping to avoid having to reinstall windows, as I've actually spend 3 days setting it all up and installing all my programs and games.

[SOLVED] SSD won't boot, goes straight to BIOS every time

So this is what's happened: I bought a new SSD, installed windows and got everything ready and working, everything was good. Then I used Samsung Magician to secure erase the old drive. After erasing I restarted the PC but it just went straight into the BIOS. And keeps doing it every time...

Is ghosting inevitable on a VA panel?

It's rated at 4ms, but of course like most monitors that's a bit of a lie. Can you even get VA panels with a true low response time that absolutely will not get ghosting?

Is ghosting inevitable on a VA panel?

In other words do ALL VA monitors experience ghosting or can some monitors avoid it? I've just bought a new monitor (Acer Predator Z321QU) and it looks fine in most game but movies and videos look atrocious. There is some degree of ghosting on virtually every moving object, and camera panning...
