Too much memory being used idle? Bad preformance.

Skyrim Random FPS drops when recording, and when not! (Maybe a bottleneck?)
I would like to start out by saying that It's not a hardware issue! Can't record games In 1080p 60FPS without lag (High end system) Components not preforming!
Okay, so this is a huge problem. Recently I've been trying to record skyrim.. I want to use dxtory and bandicam.. But with both my videos are choppy. I have a high end rig and recordings just aren't what I want.
Before anyone says anything.. I am recording with shadowplay.. She my specs are 2x GTX 970 SLI, i7-4790k, and 16gb of ram.. Now I feel like with this rig I should be getting amazing framerates..
