Yes, Try update the GPU driver. Old driver usually have problem with new games.

If its for gaming, I'd go with I5 w/ GTX780. The 4670k and 4770k has the same performance and GTx780 is a lot faster than Gtx770 for gaming. If you are going to do some video editing better with I7 4770k coz its faster for video editing.

Why dont you just get an I5-4670 instead of I7-4770? I think I7 is unnecessary, I5 will pretty much perform at same speed and cheaper.
