Okay. Could you recommend a better power supply for this system? I'm not intending to upgrade this pc later so no need for future proofing. I have also updated the bios now. What other issues should I try to fix then?

Removing any disk makes no difference in other problems. Everything else is the same. I can guarantee that the results will be the same or withing margin of error. So if there is a problem, it is visible in these results…

Thanks for your reply! This helped a lot. I got a cpu-z single thread result of 510. I tried reducing resolution and I only got about a 10-15 fps average increase going from 1440p high to 1080p medium. So I guess I'm cpu limited in this situation. Not that this gpu could do too much more anyway...

I'm using a Corsair VS550 80+ white power supply.

Since my old pc which had an AMD fx 8320 and R9 280X in it could run fortnite at 1440p 30-45fps, I'd expect this pc to do way more than 60fps at 1440p

Hi. I'd like to know what is bottlenecking my system. I play mostly Fortnite at 1440p resolution and I'm getting way lower fps than I expected. Task manager shows CPU usage at most 40% and no single core is used even close to 100%. GPU usage is 40-55%. Temperatures are not a problem on either...

I noticed that my a10-7850k package temps are very high. I overclocked to 4.2 Ghz with 1.4v voltage. Package temps 65C idle and 105C when stress testing. Core temperatures are 20-25C idle and 60C while stress testing. Is this normal? Also tried 4.0ghz stock voltage but didnt help too much only...
