My fault, I just realized that a program I downloaded (ExplorerPatcher) to revert the Windows 11 start menu back to the Windows 10 format had labels enabled by default. I hadn't noticed it prior to installing the program.

Thanks to a Reddit user in a thread I created in the Edge subreddit, the solution has been found. Toggle Efficiency Mode OFF in Edge's settings. Just search for it when opening the settings page. Didn't expect such a quick solution. Hopefully it's fixed in a future update though.
