4.70 free of 223. So I guess there isn't that much to optimize/defrag? So should I just wipe the drive, fresh OS install, and see how it goes? And defrag every month? (with SSD's it's "optimizing," right?)

Hmm, well I just did the built in defragging/optimization on that drive, and it took like 5 seconds. It said "trimmed 0%" for a couple seconds then it finished. Does that seem right? :P

Of course, sorry. "OCZ Vertex 460 SATA III Solid State Drive 240GB" I've noticed they don't have the best reputation. Hopefully it is just that. Then maybe i'll just buy a smaller one for my OS and use this for all my games.

Windows randomly corrupts a few times a year..

Maybe once or twice a year my computer just won't boot up. It will get to the little windows window, tell me it's repairing, then diagnosing, then takes me to the blue screen where I can choose a bunch of options on how to proceed. Almost exactly a year ago I had the same thing. I couldn't boot...

About time for a new monitor

I can get this one: http://accessories.dell.com/sna/products/Gaming_Accessories/productdetail.aspx?c=ca&l=en&s=dhs&cs=cadhs1&sku=210-AHHQ For $140 CAD shipped free. That's almost $100 cheaper than the above ones after all taxes... But its only 60hz. :/

It's really a hard decision. The viewsonic and Acer are literally $10 apart, the viewsonic being the slightly cheaper one. I see mixed things about both, really. So for a $10 difference is the Viewsonic still the better choice, ya think? The major plus is that freesync, I suppose, but it's...

About time for a new monitor

Just one last question... I see a couple other monitors slightly cheaper but what seems to me like very similar specs? http://www.staples.ca/en/AOC-E2476VWM6-24-1ms-Gaming-Monitor-with-ABL/product_1437944_1-CA_1_20001...

Makes sense. That's kind of how I was viewing these more expensive monitors. I found with coupon codes and all that I can get the Acer GN246HL for $167USD with free shipping, looks like. Seems like a good deal, eh?

About time for a new monitor

Ah yes, I forgot. I was talking Canadian dollars (damnit all). So around 190usd. I saw someone else recommend that one, aquielisunari. It does look nice. With my current system would a monitor like that be a waste? OR will I still get its full effect? I likely wont be upgrading my card for...
