Help: Looking to upgrade to a better Graphics card (GTX 1060 or RX 470) on my Acer Aspire XC600

Some titles perform better on an AMD card, ohers on a Geforce one. Investigate what titles you use most and base your decision on that. For me, running flight sims I have to stay away from anything AMD as far as possible. Other titles run better on AMD cards.

    i3 4160 + gtx 970, or New CPU?

Can you run those titles from the on board graphics on the CPU? If not... Get the GPU first.

Would A gtx 1060 support 2 1080p monitors and what fps?

I run 4 monitors from my GTX970. As the 1060 is even more powerful then that I can't see why it shouldn't work.

    Seven displays on a GTX970

I wish the iPad option was available to me, but as I'm building a home cockpit I am going to use the 2D panels from the airplane itself as these are 100 percent as to the rael thing. But thanks for your comment...

    4670K on 4.6Ghz at 1.3 Volt

I am using a Noctua NH D14 and I have it stable running the simulator and virus scanner on 4.5Ghz Doing a Intell stress test or Prime 95 has no use for me as I would normally not run that on daily use. So I decided on stressing the system in normal day to day activity's with software that I do use.

    4670K on 4.6Ghz at 1.3 Volt

Hi Benab3, It runs great on an I5 anything above 4Ghz. But when you get near places like Heathrow, San Francisco or New York you will need at least 4.6Ghz to maintain decent frame rates.

    4670K on 4.6Ghz at 1.3 Volt

Hi guys, I have a flight simulator system running Lockheed Martin's Prepar3D v3 and as for all Microsoft ESP related programs (Like FSX) CPU power is king. The more the better. My system has had a stable OC at 4.2Ghz for almost one and a half year but I noticed my temperatures under load of...
