    Question Swapping a K1100M for K5100M?

As far as I know, the GPU is actually replaceable on this motherboard. Slots in sorta like the RAM. I haven't opened this laptop up, yet, but all of the K1100M's and K5100M's that I've seen for sale, have an interface on them like the card in the images I attached. One image shows a K1100M and...

    Question Swapping a K1100M for K5100M?

I have an HP Omen Pro 15 with a K1100M. Can I swap it for another Kx100M card? They made up to a K5100M as far as I know. Because of what I payed for the laptop a few years ago, I wouldn't mind spending a few hundred dollars on a better GPU. Frankly, it works fine as is. I just do CAD on it and...

What Should I Expect From This PC? (Gaming Performance)

My friend has an HP desktop that they bought a year or two ago. It's a decent computer, but it has integrated graphics. I haven't opened the side panel and don't remember the exact specs, so I'm not sure if it has 4 sticks of 3Gb or 3 sticks of 4Gb DDR3. Assume it has 4X3Gb@1600Mhz. We're going...

    Thoughts on sennheiser hd 558?

My personal experiences with Sennheiser are nothing but postive. I don't have experience with the HD 558 in particular, but with headphones like the 600's. Anyway, the reviews that I have read on the 558's indicate that the bass is actually the headphone's weak point. Overall, I believe that...

if i buy the 980ti poseidon card...what else do i need to buy to water cool the card?

I don't own the card, but I did look into it a little bit last week (I'm looking at buying some 980 Ti's too). I believe it's 3/8 I'm tubing, I might be wrong. Either way, you'll need tubing, a pump, reservoir, and a radiator... right? Or am I misunderstanding the question?

Need help picking a 980 Ti

Lots and lots of monitors. 5-7 1080p 27" monitors in portrait with a 40" 3D 1080p on top. Games are going to look fantastic(hopefully). It really won't cost that much to get the monitors. The center monitor is going to be expensive, then the next two are going to be moderate, then the outer...

Need help picking a 980 Ti

I am still ordering/saving for parts for my new build. My question: What brand and model GTX 980 Ti should I get? I already have an X99 motherboard and I'm getting the i7 5930K for the 40 PCI lanes. They're going to be in 3 way SLI. To start out, they're going to be air cooled, but after a few...

Just want to ask one question. Is DDR3 1600 RAM work at 100MHz clock.?

I don't think that I understand your question. Instead of me babbling on about something that I don't have that great of an understanding of, I think that this site might be able to clarify a few things for you. It was one of the first that came up on Google (that seemed reliable)...

I need help upgradeing my pc

If you're going to use it for gaming and really want to upgrade it, just put an R9 270X or R9 280 in it.

Can I have your opinion/advice on this build?

    New computer which is better

What are you going to use the computer for? I assume gaming, but I just want to be sure. I would go for at least an R9 270X and you shouldn't need more than 8Gb for gaming. An Intel quad core will generally outperform and AMD octa core for gaming, but I'm going to leave that alone.

Need help picking parts for a PC ($2000 - $3000)

Sorry for the confusion. I am going to run four sticks of of Crucial Ballistix Sport LX 4Gb( in my previous posts I was under the impression that it was LT). Later on, I will upgrade and fully populate the RAM slots. I'll most likely run 8 8Gb sticks(to make 16Gb per channel, 64Gb total). Of...

Need help picking parts for a PC ($2000 - $3000)

Thank you, everyone. I picked theunliked's answer because most of the parts on that list are going to be (roughly) incorporated in the build (and it was first). I am going to run two GTX 980 Ti in SLI. I think I am going to reach for an i7 5930K because of the 12 extra PCI lanes and the higher...
