I got a new CMOS battery and I swapped the older one with it. I thought the problem is already fixed when I did it but when I turn it on again after a couple of minutes it presents the old issue again, I don't know if its because of how I insert it or its just the cause of my motherboard not...

I recently replace my core 2 duo e7400 with a q8300, i just want to ask if its better or not? I also got 4gb ram and a gt730 ddr3, will it run some games? I dont really expect much and i can play on a low resolution.

Do you really need the CMOS cap or is it just for resetting the bios ? Will my bios reset every boot when i dont have it or is it just the cmos battery that is responsible for that?
