I was thinking that VRMs might be overheating since they are exposed and they don't have a heat sink on them. I noticed that when I get those FPS drops that my GPU usage drops to 0% as well, but I am not sure if that could be a bottleneck or that GPU just isn't getting enough power from the PSU
