    Sudden Framerate drop in games

I've looked at all previous threads on this topic and none have helped me. To be clear, It is not a thermal issue or a malware issue (fresh copy of WIN10) So for the past few days, a few minutes into playing a game the FPS drops randomly. From 60-70+ to 10-15 and stays that way for a few...

Cryptominer on University Wifi login page (What do I do)

So in the last few days when I try to log into the university wifi, I notice it redirects a page which says "Proof of work required. Please wait". After a google search I gathered that coinhive.com is a cryptominer website which mines for Monero using browser resources. I don't think this is...

Does using two displays increase the load on my graphics card? (Even though I use only one while gaming)

So I have a Nvidia GTX 960 4GB hooked up to a 17" monitor as my secondary display and a 24" monitor as my primary. It doesn't seem to make much of a difference in games like CSGO or Dota but when I run intensive games like GTA 5 with the graphics cranked up, I do experience a little stuttering...

    GTX 960 fan

No reason to worry, I have a GTX970 and this happens all the time. As long as your temperature is under check, it's just the GPU using the fans as and when necessary.

Will my PSU handle a 980Ti

Yes, your current PSU will supply enough wattage to the GPU to run. Be careful about overclocking thoug. If you are planning to upgrade, go for an 850-1000W. Refer this link for more detailed specs: http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page362.htm

    All games on ultra?

Playing all games on ultra should not be your goal. Getting good fps (frames per second) on ultra for a smooth experience is what matters. You can have the best graphic card in the market but if your processor and RAM cant keep up, the game will inevitably stutter. Post more detailed specs about...

    Small stutters in GTA 5

I run GTA 5 on the GTX 960 and I used to have the same problem. I was connected to a VGA monitor which had a maximum refresh rate of 60 GHz, The game stopped doing this when I started connecting my PC via HDMI to my TV. Try it and let me know if it helps :D

    Overheating Graphics Card

I've posted a link from Youtube on how to reapply thermal paste in my previous answer, please try that out first. If that does not rectify the issue, you can go for an external USB-style cooler...
