[SOLVED] PC crashing but fans keep spinning and led lights still on

Yes, the power supply was tested. i had a 600 watt futureman PSU (480w on 12v rail), now i replaced it with a new EVGA 600 watt 80+ bronze unit (which is pretty overkill for a weak system like this) and it has had no impact on crashes, they still happen. I have ren memory tests and on 3000mhz...

Hello guys, i've been encountering an issue ever since i've built my new PC and it's driving me insane now. My computer seems to be crashing when on low load such as browsing the web, opening the browser, or something similar, not while gaming or stress test or anything of that sort which is...

[SOLVED] PLEASE HELP, RX 570 Dual link DVI-D connection?

Hello, i'm having some problems with my monitor and a GPU. i just purchased a second hand Acer GN246HL monitor that only supports 144hz via a Dual link DVI-D cable. I also have an Powercolor RX 570 which has a DVI-D port. Now the problem is that when i plug in the Dual link dvi-d cable from...

    CPU not supported?

Solid build, go for it. Worked out for me like a charm, CPU compatibility wasn't a problem, more of a ram compatibility was for me. I O.C'd the 3440 to 3.6 ghz on 1.25v and a shitty cooler and paired it with a 1060, it runs mostly everything fine. It's showing some age in asssassins creed...

    Burnt PSU/CPU Power connector

Jeremy, yes i do understand that, but what i'm trying to do is add additional power pins to the CPU on the motherboard with some adapter? So as instead of the motherboard having only 4 pins to power the overclocked CPU, for it to have 8 now

    Burnt PSU/CPU Power connector

King_V, I see, i just suspect that the power draw from an overclocked x3440 is too much for only 4 PIN on the motherboard and it might burn out even a better PSU with the same circumstances.

    Burnt PSU/CPU Power connector

Kos888, as i'm not sure about my soldering skills, i'll probably take it to a local repair shop to get it done for me. Could you just in case please give me a link to the connectors on ebay? Also if there are any adapters to make a 4 pin mobo 8 pin and provide more power, that would help a lot...

    Burnt PSU/CPU Power connector

King_V, guess i'll have to buy a new PSU and see if it works, but the thing is, how do i prevent it from overloading again? I mean, if i get a PSU with 8 pin power connector for the CPU, are there any adapters to work with the 4 PIN the motherboard has?

    Burnt PSU/CPU Power connector

Jerremy, thanks for the suggestion but for a broke ass student from a third world country it isn't an option at the moment to invest in a new motherboard/ram/cpu. I'd really rather get this back working again and squize the last juice out of it.

    Burnt PSU/CPU Power connector

Hello guys, i'm in a bit of trouble and would like some help, please. I was running a xeon x3440 3.6ghz O.C (1.25 on core) on a P7P55 LX motherboard with a 350 watt power supply (yes, i know) It was running quite fine for quite long untill i started playing asssassins creed odyssey a couple of...
