    if your going for a 5770 then why not: this xfx one for£126.01 or this power color card for £123 (being reference design im assuming brand doesnt really matter)

    maybe you could get a mini-itx 775 board, undervolted q9550 and passively cooled gpu. this would require less cooling, be smaller, and require less power while still being pretty powerful. sounds like a cool idea if you've got the skills to pull it off.

    hi, ive got a macbook (2ghz c2d, 2gb ddr3, 9400m) which im using for 3d design and rendering. would leaving the computer on for 1-2 days at a time rendering the 3d animation cause damage to the processor? thanks raceway99

    thanks i know about 4850/4870x2 and gtx295 but they are very powerful and very expensive. im thinking about having 3 monitors, but none of them need very much power. And multiple pci-e boards are expensive. are their any cheap single cards which support 3 monitors? thanks again raceway99

    Ive got windows 7 RC running in boot camp on a unibody macbook and also on a packard bell pc. Both have similar hardware and both perform similarly and are very reliable. i don't think its necessary, especially with the bigger latency and price tag of ddr3 over ddr2 sorry i cant help with...
