[citation][nom]city_zen[/nom]Great move, Tom's!!!!"How to please 37% of your users by annoying the other 63%"...It certainly should be RESIDENTS, not CITIZENS. What if an American citizen is living in a base in Antarctica, can he participate? All in all, bad grammar and even worse policy.[/citation]

Are you stupid? this is not Tom's contest.

"By entering the contest you agree to abide by all rules of the contest whether stated above or not"

Sorry, that just makes me a little jumpy. Is one of the parties involved (Intel, BOM, CyberPower) going to be selling my personal information? Are you going to fill my email box with spam?

That is really all that is preventing me from entering.

i don't know if you guys know this, but intel, nvidia, cyberpower, and tom's sponsors(the ones seen on the side of your page) get more purchases and clicks then other countries, hence, its not about readership at all... well sort of, its about MONEY!, and people coming to the site to read is one thing from people to come to the site and click on ads and buy stuff from people.

-one big long run-on sentence

[citation][nom]eastcoaster[/nom]Yeah, what about us Canadans?? We are loyal Toms readers too!![/citation]

Tell your shitty companies in your countries to give something away then! All hail the mighty USA! Intel, a USA company, giving products to USA citizens, the greatest people on Earth. ok jk sucks to be you people 😉

You'd think that Intel would throw in their own X25 SSDs in this "full package". Oh well, guess they're only moderately generous!

I live in Canada and I'm used to not being able to enter contests. I learned that as a kid while trying to win stuff off Nintendo Power magazines! Contest-wise, what's worst than living in Canada? Living in Quebec! It seems those laws are here to "protect" us...

They just cant afford one like the rest of us 😛

The contest is limited to citizens of the USA 18 years and older
Can someone from BoM clarify if legal residents of the USA can participate? For those that don't know, being a legal resident of the USA doesn't automatically make you a US citizen.

[citation][nom]r0x0r[/nom]"The contest is limited to citizens of the USA 18 years and older."What if you're dyslexic and a citizen of AUS?[/citation]

How about if you live in USA, Japan? I saw that district still exists on maps. :)

[citation][nom]hell_spawn[/nom]HAHAHA HAHAHAH HAHAHAH you'll be okay.... how about the US becomes a province of Canada, at least this way you will all get free health care[/citation]

Yeah, like I'd want to have a "free" health care plan that forces me to wait 2 months before I can even see the doctor. My cousin lives there, had Histoplasmosis, and it took them 2 months to get him better. I caught it here in the states. I was diagnosed, biopsied, and back to work in a couple of days. I'd rather pay for that kind of service. I do however like the idea of getting 6 months payed for maternity/paternity leave. That would be nice as I just had a kid in July and that sort of thing would have really helped.

[citation][nom]amplexis[/nom]Multiple email address are useless if they are all to one person. Especially if they don't even exist once the contest is over.[/citation]
"You may submit one entry per email address." acording to the rules one email gets you one entry so this equation is leiner so if you have two emails you have two entry's

Nice machine (i7 on LGA1156 is what I'd like to build) except for the poopy XION PSU.
To all the whingers: I have a fantastic, supportive family. That's not fair. I grew a brain tumor. That's not fair either. High IQ? Deaf in one ear? Nope, no fairness there either. Sorry, but life is not "fair." Get over it, or at least focus on the good.

Aside from International contest rules, there are likely also export laws to consider. Sure, there are exceptions and loopholes all over the place, but also restrictions, particularly on technology export. Don't blame Intel, or Tom's, or even BoM; blame the assortment of parasites, elected or otherwise, who have been given or usurped way too much power over the rest of us.

Wait, are you saying life isnt fair because you have a high IQ and have a deaf ear, or that its not fair because you DONT have a high IQ and deaf ear? Because neither of those combinations is optimal 😛

[citation][nom]Grims[/nom]Being a tripple channel system, how is it they are using 4 sticks of memory, while maintaing tripple channel?[/citation]

Its not a triple channel system , P55 boards support Dual channel.

Good news! It's actually one full year (50 weeks) which you may split the way you want between the mother/father. Great plan, really! 😉

Sounds like they want to make up some more rules later when we're not looking. Some "free" things just cost too much.
