Yepp, it is set from within Nvidia's control panel to "Maximize 3D performance"

The battery itself is of no use, but this was the case since 2015 or 16, it was still okay I just had to always keep laptop plugged in, and it did wounderful it was alright to be honest.

So I have checked the temps during gaming, and both the CPU and the GPU average at 70-80 C, with the CPU clocking at 3.7 GHz averagely. That is fine right? Or am I wrong?

So, I assumed that laptops automatically turn off once temperatures rise above a given limit. But if thats not the case, either ways I havent checked temperatures. I'll try and do that right now

So I've got an Alienware 18 (2013), and I have reinstalled windows, and essentially, I virtually refurbished the Laptop (reinstalled windows completely, drivers, everything), so system wise its technically brand new. I've also done some hardware dust clean up, opened up my laptop and cleaned it...

Are you a 100% sure if I get a battery replacment I will have my problem regarding the GPU detecion resolved? I am just making sure because it was running perfect with the same version of the BIOS before the reinstall.

After the clean reinstall, the GPU (780m Geoforce) is literally no where to be found. I went to dell's website and used their "find my laptop drivers" and installed them, none of which included the Nvidia driver. The only thing I havent updated is my BIOS, and I can not and I wont update it...

I know where it is and I can change it to raid and I want to, problem is when I change it to raid and restart my pc it cant boot into windows keeps giving me errors so I changed it back ahci for the meantime, and question is from what I read online I should install the os before changing sata...

Well it somehow helped with the initialize thing cuz I tried and did exactly what the tutorial did before hand a billion times and somehow it worked this time. One last question, I changed the sata operation to ahcl from raid, and now want to revert back after I installed the os, I don't mind...
