Yep quad channel ram would work if you motherboard supports it, and 3000 mhz ram is actually fast enough for almost any pc

If you don't mind the high power draw the HD6580 is slightly faster than GTX 1050ti but if you want to have maximum power efficiency go for the GTX 1050ti because it has better power draw but slightly lower performance

It is going to be fine. Higher frequency ram only needed on Ryzen 1st gen and 2nd gen, Ryzen 3rd gen seems to work well even with lower ram speeds.

You could send it back to MSI for them to fix it for you .

I would expect similar performance from both systems if you are using the same graphic card because the i7 4790 is also quite good cpu .

What are your system specs might be that your power supply does supply enough power for your pc. What power supply are you using?

What are those temps anyways ? Does this only happen during gaming or just randomly? It seems very likely to be a power supply issue but we still can't be too sure.

Don't worry that is completely normal all CPUs have their speeds fluctuate during idle as long as your idle temperatures and load temperatures are normal you do not need to worry.
