gpu=185W max
cpu=65W max
other components=100W
Total=350W. That's approx maximum how much my PC should draw when I'm playing. Also for safety I have put the gpu on silent mode via gpu tweak so its boost clock is 1650 instead of 1680 and power draw is also max around 165 to 170W max. That's the...
I have checked my psu is sufficient. You can check my other threads. considering my pc specs and my rtx 2060's specs 550w will provide enough headroom at least for now
So I just upgraded from GTX 1060 to Asus RTX 2060 12 GB. As soon as I did it I played game for few mins. Everything was fine because I had enabled Vsync so that was capping at 60 fps. As soon as I disabled it to check how further it goes. After 5 mins game got crashed, closed and system got...
Agreed that's what I thought. But I don't know why in Youtube all of them are using 650W or more something. Also in power supply calculator outervision Power draw is not that much but its recommending 600 or higher.🤷♂️
After sometime you don't need that much driver support as most of the time it has been optimized. Unless some game or application or something new comes up and need to work on it I guess.
I was using GTX 1060 used card. Then it stopped working. So I'm planning to buy a new gpu probably RTX 2060. In specs recommended psu is 500W and I have Corsair CX 550W psu. But I was wondering if it won't be too much for my PSU as I want my PC to be stable for long-term. Do I need to upgrade...
Yes I agree 6600 has better performance. But atm I'm really not comfortable with amd cards right now. I experienced that Nvidia ones are more stable in terms of drivers and all. In future sure I will consider it. I have CX 550W psu do you think RTX 2060 should be enough? In PC builds I have seen...
