I definitely agree with hang-the-9. Don't buy anything new. Just buy BF4, play it, and if you feel like you're wanting more performance, then upgrade your system accordingly.

From what I've heard, the only advantage Haswell has over Ivy Bridge is the integrated GPU performance which doesn't matter since I will be buying a dedicated GPU.

DDR3 = the RAM you put in the RAM slots on your motherboard. GDDR3/5 = the RAM that's on your video card. Both are different and are not interchangeable.
