[SOLVED] System runs slower after gpu upgrade

Does the poor performance happen in games other than R6? Maybe It's worth to try. To make sure, monitor your CPU and GPU clocks in-game. If they are lowering below what they should run at, it could indicate a battery saving feature being active or there might be a thermal issue somehow.

[SOLVED] How do I take off the front glass panel from my pc case?

It's probably kept in place by plastic connectors which you can find from inside of the front panel, that's how cases with glass panels from Thermaltake are designed anyway. This might be similar. So you have to remove the connectors from the inside, that's my bet.

    Question Differences between these Monitors

Yeah with FreeSync you'll have to do a bit more research to find out whether a panel is suffering from QC issues, there are a few that are certified by Nvidia that'll definitely work fine.

    Question Differences between these Monitors

If it helps, you can buy a FreeSync monitor instead of G-Sync, and that'll also work with your GTX 1080 even though It's AMD tech.

Question What are the requirements of 1080p @ 30~ 60 FPS on the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 going to be?

I'd be a little surprised if your setup wasn't capable of 1080p@60FPS at medium settings. However we can't know at this point, we can only make educated guesses.

Question Is 30 FPS good enough?

30 FPS without V-Sync may cause frame timings to be more inconsistent, enabling V-Sync when setting a game to 30 FPS could help the frametimes to be more consistent - thus be slightly smoother (Assuming the monitor being used is 60Hz). Motion blur helps framerate look a bit more fluid. When...

Question 1070 ti is bottlenecked with an i7 9700k

Yeah so essentially everything seems in order really. Battlefield V can be this really CPU resource intensive game sometimes. You could check if something in the background - other than the game you're playing - is using a lot of CPU power, through task manager.

    Question 1080 x2 sli

Firstly, you really need to take lessons in English grammar and general writing. Your current style doesn't really meet Tom's Hardware's expected standards. Secondly, leave the GTX 1080 SLI. Not many games utilise SLI well these days.

    Question Is this monitor good?

It's good, but most 144Hz panels provide better value IMO. If you are extremely competitive, then you could find use for such a monitor. For the same price you could consider a higher resolution and a much better panel type (IPS/VA instead of TN), which would be the better option for anyone who...

Question 1070 ti is bottlenecked with an i7 9700k

If you notice your clock speeds dropping in-game, then it could be a sign of VRM throttling, then you could look into trying those things (They usually help, yeah).

Question Is my SSD causing FPS drops?

It's probably not your SSD. Have you monitored your CPU and GPU in terms of temperatures and clock speeds?

Question 1070 ti is bottlenecked with an i7 9700k

Okay, in my opinion the VRM Cooling should be sufficient with that motherboard. Try live monitoring the CPU clocks using MSI Afterburner overlay in games to see if clocks are dropping at all whilst playing.
