If it seems to power on but you get no display and your display is plugged into your GPU, I would first try to replicate it without the GPU - plug your display into your MOBO and see what happens.

I was going to get the kraken x52 until I read the reviews about the CAM software. They have released a new version of it, apparently rewritten but all the negative reviews put me off so I went with the h100i instead.

I have ordered an RMX 750, will come tomorrow. Bit of an update; I moved my old system into my new case and used the H100i and RTX 2070. All working as expected. So the Z390 and the i7 9700k are the remaining culprits. Will ring MSI tomorrow to see what they suggest.
