Need help choosing between i5 8500 and Ryzen 5 1600

A 2600 would be ideal, you get higher base clock speeds and an RGB fan is included. It also has twice the threads than the 8500. If you're really on a budget then go with the 1600 in my opinion.

Need help deciding on case, MBO, RAM to go with Ryzen 5 2600

MOBO- MSI X470 Gaming plus GPU- AMD RX580 8GB Case- Cooler Master MB500 (Comes with 3 RGB fans) RAM- Corsair Vengeance 16GB Keep your CPU and GPU from the same maler as usually that results in lesser problems.

Stock Ryzen 5 1400 CPU fan RPM wont go above 600RPm

It could be a defective cooler. Search for problems similar to yours on the net, you should find the answer.

Is it normal behavior for one of my two fans to not initially go full speed under load until temps go above 70 on the 1060 6GB

As long as there is no throttling, you should be fine. If it really annoys you though you could go into your garphics card's settings and alter the fan curve to whatever you like.

Best Budget CPU for gtx 1060?

Definitely look at getting a Ryzen 5 1600/2600 as the higher thread count will really benefit you in the long term. The motherboards are cheaper, RAM speeds are usually higher and they have great value.

    Budget gpu? Any suggustions

A GTX 1050 Ti would be ideal, you'll be able to play most games at 1080p medium-high settings. I myself have a 1050 Ti and i can easily play Fortnite at high-ish settings at 60fps. It would be great for long term use as games get more intensive for your GPU. You really should upgrade to 8GB RAM...

Hey guys, was hoping to get any experienced person's opinion on this: I'm thinking of building a new PC with either an RX 580 8GB or 4GB (most probably 8gb). My only last gripe is whether to get a 144hz Acer GN246HL monitor (TN panel, 1ms) or an Acer SB220Q monitor (IPS panel, 4ms). The SB220Q...
