Internet slows down to a crawl every few hours

It sounds like an issue with the network interface on the PC - more than likely an issue with the driver. Are you using Windows drivers for the device or have you downloaded the driver from Lenovo's website? There may be additional drivers that Lenovo may have to solve the issue (i.e. chipset...

    PC Monitor stopped working

From your troubleshooting - I believe the problem to be the display port input on the monitor - since it works on HDMI. Have you tried it on another computer just to be 100% sure?

why my ip changes everytime ?

Using a static IP for your computer will require Relience Jio to assign a specific IP address to your connection. Because of the limited pool of IP addresses, most ISPs will rotate the IP addresses assigned to modems so that they don't have to have so many assigned. When we all used dial-up...

    PC Monitor stopped working

Can the monitor be utilized using a different interface (i.e. HDMI or other) - this will verify that the monitor is working properly. You can also try it on another computer. Can the cable be tested on another PC/Monitor combination - this will verify that the cable is good. If the cable and...

Questions about OS and mobo change

I would backup any important data or programs from the HDD first. Windows 10 should perform an update on the computer, but there is always a chance of problems, or clicking the wrong option and losing all the data...

    i7 vs FX8320 Second Life

There may be an issue in the BIOS settings for the processor - or heat related issue. The 8320 and the GTX 670 should perform fairly well - I doubt if a core i-7 will improve performance dramatically. The core i-7 is a faster processor, but something with the OS configuration or BIOS appears...

    Monitor not displaying an image.

The monitor that is not working may require analog output from the DVI cable, where the one that does, may work properly due to it accepting digital or analog signals. Is VGA the only input on the "non-working" monitor?

PC wont start correctly after RAM upgrade

The new RAM may be defective, it may not be compatible with the older set of RAM, or the settings in BIOS may be creating an issue (i.e. too high voltage, too high CPU clock, etc....). Try removing the original RAM, and try with only the new RAM to verify they are not defective. Look up the...

    Windows 10 pc reset problem.

You might need to reinstall from a USB - you won't have to reformat.....it should be able to do a standard reset.

    Windows 10 pc reset problem.

You can reboot and restart the reset process. It may create multiple "windows.old" folders - but you can utilize the Windows disk cleanup tool to remove them.

    Windows 10 pc reset problem.

With your specs, it has to be frozen. The entire process on your system should take less than an hour - possibly less than 30 minutes. If the reset is pulling down updates, and the connection to Microsoft is slow, it could appear "frozen"....but if you have a good connection, it shouldn't take...

    2tb SSD for mass storage

Having a "data drive" for common documents configured as a large SSD doesn't give you much "bang for the buck", as the SSD is higher in price as compared to the traditional HDD. The cost differential doesn't give you a large performance increase. The biggest bang for the buck is with operating...

    Windows 10 pc reset problem.

It may be frozen, or may be performing tasks at a slow pace - how fast is the computer and the internet connection?

Home Networking with AT&T GigaPower/U-Verse TV

The issue isn't connectivity from the modem to the internet....it is with local traffic. UVerse IPTV is a bear - theoretically it works great, but because of the way they have designed it, it creates issues with the local network. You can't utilize items like powerline adapters. The...

HTTP 403 Forbidden Unauthorized IP address problem

Are you connecting to the root of the website, or jumping to a specific page within the website via bookmark? Sometimes the bookmark may become invalid - Apache servers often indicate a 403 forbidden when requesting a specific link that is invalid. The other issue may be that your IP address...
