First of all, make sure that laptop has wireless drivers installed. If yes, then confirm that the network settings on wifi router and your laptop are same.

Try to download the updated drivers from manufacturer's website. You can do so on any other PC on which internet is working and then copy on yours.

Did you download the wireless drivers after installing new hard drive?

Try by downloading "Qualcomm Atheros QCA9565 802.11b/g/n WiFi Adapter drivers", for windows you are using.

It is not likely. You have only to find the right drivers for your card.

Try to find out the model of your wireless card and download its drivers. Its possible that you have to download them from wireless card manufacturer's website not from toshiba's. Check in BIOS, the wireless card model may be mentioned there.

The problem has been solved. The Ralink wireless drivers were missing.

The laptop is hp pavilion 15 e005. The button is still orange. But when I tried again to connect to network, this time it connected to wifi. I think button is orange because bluetooth is disabled. However it was not connecting to wifi a short time ago. Thanks to all
