[SOLVED] Are Thermaltake Pure Plus 12 RGB Fans Good?

Yeah I think thermaltake is a good company but I'm just wondering about these fans specifically because there's a strange lack of reviews. They're at a GREAT price and it's making me suspicious because usually at that point either the performance or the rgb is terrible, and the performance seems...

[SOLVED] Are Thermaltake Pure Plus 12 RGB Fans Good?

I accidentally put this thread in the cpu section, that's a shame. I don't think I can delete it, and I don't want to spam by double posting. If any admin or mod sees this and has the ability to move the thread that'd be great!

[SOLVED] Are Thermaltake Pure Plus 12 RGB Fans Good?

Right now there’s a pretty good deal on Thermaltake Pure Plus RGB 12 fans but before buying them I’d like to ask for reviews from anyone who’s had them. Strangely I can’t find ANY comparisons online between them and other rgb fans. I’m mostly concerned on the quality of the lighting in...

First Gaming PC: Help me pick between two builds (or suggest something better)

I would say mix the two. Use number two, but make these changes. CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor Motherboard: MSI Z97-Gaming 5 ATX LGA 1150 Storage:Samsung E 250GB Evo SSD + Hitachi Ultrastar 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive Memory: Avexir Core series 8GB (2 x 4GB)...

    Good Gaming Headset

Are you going to use these headphones for positional audio? Also isn't 70 more than the krakens? If you need some positional audio (knowing by sound where the enemies are in case of distance and direction) in any case, with your budget I would recommend the HyperX cloud 2 which has toggleable...

HyperX Cloud 2 vs Audio Technica AD700x vs Other Headphones For CS:GO

Well now I am mostly between audio-technica and sennheiser, I think what I will do is go to a store and try to listen to some music with both. I know they will both be amazing in CS, so I will see whether the bass is truly too flat and shy. Like I said I am not an audiophile, so I might end up...

HyperX Cloud 2 vs Audio Technica AD700x vs Other Headphones For CS:GO

Thanks again, this information really puts the 598s back in my mind as a choice. I'd still really like to hear some other opinions, especially from some CS:GO players who could answer why pros seem to use sub par headphones. I am honestly at a loss for what to choose so I think I will get some...

HyperX Cloud 2 vs Audio Technica AD700x vs Other Headphones For CS:GO

Though I am looking at headphones >$100, my budget is not infinite. So how much does the amp improve sound in the sennheiser hd598s and how much would I have to spend on a good one. Would it make a good difference in CS:GO, or in any game?

HyperX Cloud 2 vs Audio Technica AD700x vs Other Headphones For CS:GO

Hmmm, ok and what would you say about the HyperX cloud 2, if you know anything about that. The options thing is my main confusion, say I got the stereo 598s, would downloading the razer surround sound freeware, and enabling 7.1 sound in my soundcard and CS:GO make it sound better or worse...

    Upgrading my pc for gaming

It is fairly easy to look up an exchange rate for $ to rupees so you can just do that. I really do need to know your specs in this thread if you are not trolling to see your budget, as if you have a low budget, an intel processor is not really possible unless you sacrifice a lot.

HyperX Cloud 2 vs Audio Technica AD700x vs Other Headphones For CS:GO

CATS_PAW, WELCOME BACK! :). Thank you so much for trying to help my stupid brain put technology together again! You pretty much answered everything, as you did last time, except the questions with the options which is understandable considering you don't have CS:GO. The sennheiser 598s were my...

    Upgrading my pc for gaming

I would just like to point out, that you cannot have a "gaming" computer with an integrated graphics card. You need to get a seperate dedicated GPU (graphics card). I agree with sincreator, where we need to see a budget as well as your current computer design. If you have a big budget you can...

Can this GTX 980 build do 4k gaming?

I am definitely not an expert, but I think this should be able to run pretty much anything. Only thing I would say is make sure that liquid cooler you have is very good, because you're gonna need a great one with those monster dual 980s, and the 4790k, ESPECIALLY if you overclock. I am not an...
