It all started with a Commodore 64........

Right click on start and click run.....in the box type msconfig....clicl ok.....in the box, at top click boot option....remove the option you don't want and click ok.....leaving the windows 10 option....reboot..

Most of the time I've had problems with slow boot like you're describing is because a hard drive is having a problem.....Not connected well, the cables are loose, etc...

Pull everything from motherboard.....(gently), ...and, only after powering down, ...unplug it all....ram, cpu, all cables and .....Start over....slowly reassemble..taking care on CPU,Ram, power supply, video card,.....Only Connect....one ram, one drive...(boot drive), applying just the...

One of the things I don't like is to be caught needing something and not having it. Go for the 3900x if you can. the gaming is great and you always have what you need with more cores...growing room.

I've read where Firefox is defaulting to the web protocol DoH using Cloudflare server.....Chrome has not....but the ability to switch to DoH on Chrome is documented.....Would switching to DoH in Chrome be a secure and reasonable choice to make?
